Dutchman 50 On Cat Multi Track Loader
Moves trees up to 5.5”
This equipment is fitted with special rubber tracks for turf. This facilitates movement exerting low ground pressure with minimal ground damage. This works very well in light areas and for on-site transplanting.
Big John 90
Moves trees up to 9”
The Big John 90 has 4 spoon-like spades and a 200 gallon water tank to assist with tight ground conditions. It digs a 5’ hole that is 90” across.
Holt 94
Moves trees up to 10.5”
The Holt 94 has 4 powerful spades capable of handling trees that can dig 7 feet deep to extract a large root ball. This makes this machine an ideal choice to transplant tap rooted hardwoods such as oaks, hickory and walnut trees.
The Bigger Digger — The Holt 110
Moves trees up to 16”
The ‘Bigger Digger’ is the largest tree Spade in Canada. It can transport and transplant trees 14″ – 16″ in diameter or in excess of 60′ tall. It has 8 powerful spades that can cut through 20″ of frost and takes a 17.5 ton root ball that measures 110″ across and 96″ deep.
The ‘Bigger Digger’ has transplanted trees on golf courses, ski resorts, city streets and parks, at private residences and universities.
This machine is massive so we have to map out travel routes as well as inspect planting sites for accessibility.
